Nice scenic shot, Diana. If I might offer a slight editorial opinion, I think you should have included a little more of the foreground leaves at the top to add depth and framing. As it is, the couple of leaves that are there are more of a distraction than an aid to the composition, and I would be tempted to crop or clone them out altogether. Of course, other opinions may differ, and composition is a very subjective thing. Overall, a very nice scene, with nice layers of sunlight and shadowed areas.
You won't believe it Mike, I did post the original one with leaves on top! I thought they were too much, so deleted, cropped and added this one. Re distraction, you are so right. The first choice is actually always the right one. thanks for your advice :-)
Gorgeous. And yes it is amazing how often the first choice is the right one ... before one starts overthinking things. I find that often, the very first photo I take of a scene ends up being the best
Gorgeous - I would pull the tint slider a little to the yellow side on this. If you use Lightroom this is in the Develop or in Topaz Studio add a HSL Color Tuning and maybe move the Over all Hue slider towards the yellow. It would warm this picture up. BUt that is only my opinion and it is wonderful this way too.
