This Spotted Eagle Owl gave me the fright of my life. I was standing under a tree taking pictures, when suddenly it flew out almost over my head. Fortunately it wanted to take a closer look as to who had disturbed his daytime nap, and posed very nicely on a cable overhead.
So jealous. I want an owl for my project. You think that because we have been walking in Walmart most of the winter that is why I haven't one. Maybe at the beach today.
