Strelizia in different modes.

I played around with my camera today to see all the different shooting possibilities. Some of them I really liked, so decided to put them in a collage for the challenge.

I absolutely love these. I call them bird of paradise flowers. When my lovely friend died, who was at the time the world's top expert on lepidopterology (or little brown moths as he used to call them!), his lovely wicker basket coffin was absolutely covered in these. I have never forgotten the sight. Such elegance and unspeakable beauty in these flowers. Loving your collage.

I gave the camera club a challenge of taking 10 photos of one flower or flowers from different povs and post 5 together. You would have passed my assignment though you did edits. I would have been happy anyway.
