Pep Ventosa ?

Emma Davies showed some info about how to use this technique. This tree was all I could find and I used four different shots to stack in PS. Nothing special, but interesting for me to learn something new.
that is a really interesting effect - quite ghostly :)

Great result. There are many editing options that i don't know of. This is one of them.

Cool capture and edit.

This really works -- a sense of motion and yet clearly can see the details of the tree.

Emma Davies just mentioned to walk around a tree, take 4-5 shots focusing on the stem. Go to Photoshop - Files - Scripts - load files into stack. Once there work on each individually by lowering opacity to about 40% - use screen or multiply mode according to taste. It's easy and fun :-)
