of the dam at Vredenheim which is used by a rowing club. There was a huge flock of Flamingos in the sky and that is where they landed. It must have been an amazing sight for the canoeists who were doing their normal rounds. Unfortunately we could not stop as we were in bumper to bumper traffic moving along a major road. So the shot is nothing to write home about, but I still like it ;-)
@angelikavr I drive that road twice a week, but earlier during the day. There is plenty of places to stop, but the Flamingos are seldom there, there is wildlife on both sides though ;-)
I see the same at Flamingo Vlei, and there is no place to stop at all.
