Mr Weaver manged to get it done

within 24 hours. Yesterdays nest is finished, but the builder was nowhere to be seen. Today a massive storm front is hitting us, so he finished just in time. Not sure why he left that piece of grass there, it almost looks like a handbag now. The sky was so blue, I had to desaturate it.

@lindasees @shutterbug49 This is the bottom where they go in. It is actually oval, which means there is a mound behind which is like a room. I will take a shot of the proper shape and post it.

@olivetreeann That little beak is in and out all the time. He flies away to get another strip of grass and continues. Sometimes he drops the grass and goes to pick it up again.It is amazing to see how he weaves. If the female does not like it, she rips it apart :-(
