I just recently learned there are three different kinds of zebras. Mountains, plains, and Grevy’s. I’m not sure I would be able to tell the difference. If I’m correct, yours are plains. You have captured a remarkably clear photo of them here.

@grammyn That is right Katy, they are plains zebra. We do not have many mountain zebra in our area, in fact they are almost extinct ;-)
