Wildebeest (Gnu)

Found in Southern and Eastern Africa, is a really unique animal hat looks like a combination of many others. With it's ox like head, the mane of a horse and buffalo horns it is not very attractive - but does have a lot of character.

I've seen the wildebeest on nature shows befire, but I've never seen a really close up like this.

@30pics4jackiesdiamond They are wild but not living on our estate Jackie. There is quite a large herd down the road on the wine farm where the Zebra are too.
