A dried leaf

full of....? Not sure if these are some eggs of an insect. It sure looks weird though.
maybe they're aliens waiting for the mother ship! :-)

How interesting , we have tiny wasps here that produce Gauls , they usually are on oak leaves and are commonly called Oak apples. Inside each is a tiny wasp about 3mm long. I winger if yours are something similar ?

Looks very interesting have you opened one of these bulbs, if it is similar to what Vonski says you should see a larvae inside.

That really is strange looking. I hope you didn't take it home with you! :)

Very interesting find. I like your capture of it.

Naw - that's just the way squirrels serve cooked peas. Actually, I agree that this is likely some kind of gall insect. Could be some kind of midge species.

Well it’s a great closeup, I’ve not seen anything like it so I have no idea what those balls are. Surely an insect’s eggs though.

Love the textures of the leaf - not so sure about its contents lol
