The neglected vineyard

on our estate. The owner has no interest in it anymore and is trying to sell it. Such a pity for those that have built their lovely homes around the vineyard.

You could probably write a book about this particular piece of land. Its a lot of work keeping a vineyard up to scratch and some people are not up to hard work! Such a shame!

I wonder if the lack of interest stems from a financial loss. I think that some people buy vineyards without full appreciating what is involved in maintaining them.

@777margo They are weeds Margo, Echium vulgare ;-)
@merrelyn The owner who bought it from the estate was greedy, he thought he could build some more houses on it Merrelyn. It is stated in the contract that it is not building land though ;-)
@ninaganci The estate used to have our own labeled wine made from it, it was not a good one though. That is why they sold the property :-)
