Taken by a pilot friend who lives here too. The estate is 30 hectares and has only 204 houses. This is only the centre part, it still stretches to the left and right. The open space in the centre of the houses, is the olive grove which is our extended backyard. To the left is a portion of the vineyard. There are two more olive groves and 4 dams which are not on the photo, as well as a club house, creche, tennis court and driving range. Anyone interested can google dewijnlanden.co.za
wow I did go to the link - how interesting! I didn't realise just how you live there, it was great to see this! So your home is one that is right around the edge of the olive grove?
Wonderful place to live! I did google it. Looks like a lovely place, lots of security which is good. Prices seems reasonable but there must be monthly fees
@brigette@777margo It is quite a large community, this photo is only a third of it ;-) @photographycrazy The levy and of course the 24/7 security is rather expensive here, but well worth it in this country. We don't need burglar bars and can leave our windows and doors open ;-)
So after looking at the link i feel you may have taken some of the photos and I am wondering if the couple in front of the Christmas tree in the gallery of photos is you?
