Buddha in the garden

as it was in urgent need of some cleaning.
Although being a devout Christian, I learned some of Buddah's teachings which I admire. Especially after living in Tokyo for ten years. I have quite a few but this one is my favourite.

I have a few doctor appointments today, so might only be able to catch up tomorrow. I do apologize.

There is a nice contrast of texture between the statue and the bokeh. I am a Christian too- and what I noticed when I was teaching comparative religion in Christian school was that Buddah borrowed heavily from the teachings of Jesus- so apparently he knew where real Truth could be found although he didn't give it credit.
