There is one road leading to a wine estate where the road is lined with roses on one side and so many different coloiurs of bougainvillea on the other. Behind them? Masses of vines.
So many American vineyards plant roses at the end of the Vine rows, to watch for various vineyard diseases. It seems roses are a grape's best friend. The bougainvillea in the Caribbean were so beautiful, I can imagine what a lovely drive that would be, roses on one side and bougainvilleas on the other!
@louannwarren Thanks for the lovely comments Lou Ann, it is the same here! Apparently if a disease is on it's way, it goes to the roses first and can thus be controlled. Seems to be the same allover 😉
