A reason why I love living here, by ludwigsdiana

A reason why I love living here,

is having so much wonderful nature close by. These shots were taken at Inverdoorn game reserve. It is about a two and a half hour drive from where we live. As we get many friends visiting from overseas between December and March, there is plenty of opportunity to get out.
Wow how fabulous to have such an amazing collection of animals on your back doorstep.

yes, southern Africa has an amazing complement of wildlife. I spent 7 weeks in northern Botswana, Chobe National Park, back in the early 1990's. I am sure I'll be back.

@Taffy just showed me her 2,000+ photos and they are incredible! She said she'd love to photograph animals again and again-- maybe I can talk her into a trip to South Africa, although she has already been to Kruger. I've only been on business so I was only in Cape Town and Stellenbosch and the Cape, of course.
