A wine industry in mourning

as they are losing hundreds of millions per week due to lockdown. Many wine farms already had to give up and close down. It is a crying shame for this country.
So sad

This really is a tragic thing. I absolutely love SA wine too. Sunshine in a bottle. Ache for you and your country.

How heartbreaking to have to stand by and watch this happen. It must be so frustrating and make people feel so powerless!

what a magnificent view, it is a tragedy that all the sacrifices made now should be destroyed...this covid has brought too many people to their knees in the world

It's a lovely patchwork of fields but so sad knowing what is happening. Many of the farms will never recover.

Beautiful capture and view!

I am really sorry to hear about so many of the vineyards closing and losing everything. At this point no decisions are being made for the people but for those in power (some politicians but even more so in the World Health Organization and the drug companies who want to force everyone to be vaccinated whether they need or want it) to keep control of it. It's very disheartening.
