Ohh...they are lovely such beautiful painting. I have a set too...which I bought on a Russian cruise ship in a different lifetime......mine are the more 'traditional' colours and style though.
Beautiful set- the colors are very rich and Russian- the deep navy blue and rich crimson red. Nicely captured! And I agree with Esther- they sort of look like you (if you had a braid coming off the side of your hair!).
