So many cattle by ludwigsdiana

So many cattle

on one farm. These are very beautiful zebu cattle. I pulled up the side of the road as I have never seen so many on one spot before. These are zebu cattle, notice the hump on their shoulders. They are a silvery white and seem to have almost no fur. There were just females and their calves on this patch of land.
Great narrative and photo:)

Fascinating looking animals. Fabulous photo of so many of them in this field too. Are they used for milk or beef or something else?

@grammyn They are very drought resistant Katy and are used for meat. They have very small teats and enough milk to feed their calves :-)

Very unusual cattle. Are they native to Africa?

Such a different type than the brown or black/white ones we have here. Nice shot.
