They went separate ways by ludwigsdiana

They went separate ways

after the last encounter. This was also the last time I saw this little runaway and I was very upset. The parents sat under their olive tree all alone again. This photo was taken on the 23rd.

Low and behold when I looked out early yesterday morning, (29th) the little runaway was back! He has grown during this week awol. So I guess I will continue with the series with a daily shot as long as the chick is there.

So glad he keeps coming back

I'm glad it came back. You get attached to animals as you watch them grow up. Always hope they make it all the way to adulthood.

This one looks fabulous especially on black. So funny to see them back to back like this and so good to hear that he didn’t disappear completely

Oh how awesome

Oh good news! Maybe he was so well hidden you just didn't see him for the past few days. The expressions really do give the shot a comical sense.

@olivetreeann He was really lost Ann, his parents sat alone under their tree for almost one week. They did not budge, maybe in the hope that he finds them :-)
