Animals on the golf course

at the Strand golf club. There is a company that makes artificial lawn and have decided to cover animals with it as a promotion. The kids love it.

On a different note, the mountains center and left have been burning since last Wednesday! It has been so hot and windy, that the fire has jumped over to the nature reserve and Helderberg. We are all praying for rain here.

@seacreature It has been a horrific weekend Desi! All the mountains in the are are on fire, even Jonkershoek. These hot berg winds swept it from one end to the other. Thank goodness it started raining last night :-)
