So beautiful and colourful. Last night as we walked back to our hotel from the restaurant, I was startled by a red deer right at the roadside. Unfortunately I couldn't get the camera out before he bolted. It would have made a super photo of his head coming out of the deep ferns Are these impala?
@jamibann What a lovely surprise you had Issi. Springbuck are not Impala but Antelope. They look different and all Springbuck have horns, whereas only the male Impala have horns. Springbuck also have a white face and stomach, Impala are light brown. They are native to South Africa and our national animal :-)
