As there are no rocks in the area, these had to be carted here as support.

Interesting. So different from what we call a tidal pool. In our case, it is just a shallow area filled with water between the rocks at low tide.

@falcon11 I suppose that is how some of ours started on the rocky coast too Allison. They at some stage cementes walls around some so that the can always be enjoyed. We enormous changes between the tides :-)
