This is so gorgeous! I keep mine in a pot so I can bring it in in the winter time. How do you manage to keep it alive all winter? Well, whenever your cold weather is.
@grammyn Our winters are not that cold Katy, the coldest is about 6 degrees C at night. It warms up during the day. I have six in pots which I put in a sheltered corner of our patio.
The bigger one I planted in the ground last Spring and have to see how it does. We have very bad clay soil which they don't like. I had a huge hole dug and filled it with cactus soil which it loves. If it survives, I will plant the others too. Crossing fingers ;-)
@ludwigsdiana that explains it. Our temperatures often get below -4° C in our cold months. I don’t think mine would survive that in the ground. I hope you’re survives this year as it is so beautiful.
