At present there is a prohibition on the sale of alcohol both in bars and with a meal in a restaurant. The prohibition is not vigorously followed with beer and wine often served in porcelain pots of the appropriate size. There is no subtlety or pretence here. Just to clarify I believe the law should be followed whether one agrees with it or not - no pick and mix allowed.
