JPJ Dolphin by lynbonn

JPJ Dolphin

At the USNA Naval Academy is the sarcophagus of John Paul Jones. It is supported by bronze dolphins. These dolphins were originally polished by the Midshipmen standing watch in the crypt. One of the graduating classes restored the crypt and had them permanently coated so no Midshipman would ever be required to polish them again.
