I like the jet in the background. Maybe you should do multiple exposures and get a bunch so that it looks like meteors in the background!

I like the picture. Did u use a tripod? 8 seconds without a tripod is a good steady hand.

@realrown Didn't have my tripod with me but found a ledge to set the camera on (used my camera strap under the lens to raise it some) and used the self-timer so I didn't shake the camera when I pressed the shutter.

I have been to that hotel,love the River Walk. We have a nice one in Nashville,too
