The lookout at Clingman's Dome, the highest point in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park just inside North Carolina. It's a 1/2 mile steep walk along a paved path to get to the lookout...believe it or not, I think the walk down was harder than the walk up.
@bkbinthecity@clarkafb_brat This was an afternoon shot. Originally, we had planned to go early morning and decided it might be all fogged in as was the case the last time we were here and could see nothing. And, yes, it is an amazing sight....you can see for miles.
