We were out trying to get some new shots this afternoon and this gentleman invited us on to his property to take pictures. The structure on the right side is from the movie "Places in the Heart". It's the building where Sally Field and Danny Glover went to sale their first wagon of cotton. He uses this as a second office now.

You are right, I haven't done any B&W so I will set my camera to that.
BTW, I do not do any photo editing. All my pics are SOOC.
Would love to try photo editing, but never seems to be enough hours in a day, so I take a git-er-dun type attitude with photography and attempt to set up the best shot possible in camera.
I notice that you enjoy lots of colour in your photos, which is great. You take some fun shots ... like the bicycle pins and your selfie in the playground.
I challenge you to take a shot using different shades of only one colour.
To make it more interesting, let's see if you can do it straight out of the camera ... no photo editing.

@paula365 Paula, yes, he was very nice and it was such a wonderful surprise. His place was absolutely beautiful. He said he spent 4 years preparing the property before he even started building his home on it.
