There She Goes

John challenged me this week "to try and capture movement in a moving vehicle, keeping the vehicle in focus but the background blurred" for get-pushed-36. Been busy all week but finally made myself get out to one of the neighborhood streets and get some shots. Sure did get some funny looks from people....this street is always 20 mph and everyone speeds through here.
@johnmnewman John, this one's for you. Hope I met your challenge this week.

Good job, Lynne. That looks hard to do.

@sansjuan Nita, it's really pretty easy and sometimes fun. Set your camera to continuous shoot and your speed at about 1/30. You can either shoot in shutter speed priority or set your aperture accordingly to keep the slow shutter speed. Then just follow your subject while pressing the shutter button. Usually, the first and last 2 or 3 shots are throw aways and you can get a clear focus in one of the middle shots. Cars are easy to practice with.

@lynne5477 Thanks, Lynne that actually sounds like something I could do. I will put it on my list to try.
