My husband and I participated in the Texas Ride 2 Recovery this morning. In partnership with the Fitness Challenge Foundation, the Ride 2 Recovery benefits Mental and Physical Rehabilitation Programs for our Country's wounded veterans that feature cycling as a core activity. What a great event and honor it is to participate and talk with the service men and women in this project.

Do they encourage bike riding for the wounded vets too, or is that just part of the benefit efforts to raise awareness and money?
@paula365 Paula, yes, each wounded soldier has his own soldier escort who is there to help them along the way; whether that's just being by their side or helping to push them up a hill or whatever they may need. They do these rides all over the country and they are usually a 7 day ride; this was just the last day for this one in Texas.
