We hiked around the Old Dillon Reservoir yesterday which is now a Wetland Mitigation area but we got some fabulous views. This is looking down on the little town of Silverthorne, CO.
If you have the time, this will be best viewed large for the detail.
@grannysue Had heard it was 101 in Bedford. Got up to about 78 here (which is pretty warm) today but the weekend is going to cool back off to the low 70's. I'll probably melt when I get back home.
@lynne5477 I'm not too far from Bedford. Closer to Fort Worth, but work at the Alliance area. Was so grateful for remote start on the car. My husband called and reminded me to turn it on before I left the office. Yesterday, I almost suffocated getting in the car after it had been shut up in the sun all day.
@grannysue Linda, the temps here are wonderful. But we'll be back in the Texas heat in another week....not really looking forward to it.
