Autumn in Texas.....NOT!

Well, this is at the Japanese Gardens in Fort Worth but it was taken last fall. I was just playing around with the oil painting filter in PS. I'll have to print one of these to see if I like it as well in print as I do on the screen.
Do let us know how it prints up - it sure is lovely on the screen. You set the composition up so nicely and the colors are wonderful.

Hello Lynne, thank you for your challenge and sorry that it took me so long to find something for you. I had to think about it a while longer. I love your portraits, they are all excellent captures with the perfect lighting. So I thought about how your portraits would look like when you are forced to use only one lightsource - e.g. the light you get from a window, an open door (when your model is in a darker room) or even an i-pad used as soft box. When using only one window you can try different constellations - shooting wiht the light or against it, using small or big windows, using the window/door/etc only as lightsource or telling a story with it - there are just so many possibilities. I hope you have fun with it and I am really excited to see your results.
