Eleven Pipers Piping by lynne5477

Eleven Pipers Piping

A filler from a few days ago when we went to the Dallas Arboretum for the 12 Days of Christmas. This was a daytime shot and I processed with Peferct Effects 9...using one of their presets for B&W. Just to be a little different on this one.

Best viewed large for detail if you have the time.
That's amazing. I just bought PE9 yesterday. Looks awesome.

Hi, Lynne. Thanks for the get pushed challenge. This is a great image, but damn, now I have to come up with another challenge for you. I was just about to ask you to make a photo that captures the festivity of Christmas, but with B&W instead of color, which you use much more often (and to great effect BTW.) HOW DID YOU KNOW what I was about to give you?!? Ha ha. OK -- be back in a we bit after I put on my thinking cap and look through your album again.

I'm back... How about some forced perspective? Extra points if it's holiday related. If this week is too full and crazy for that, show me some annual family tradition.

This is fabulous - wonderful focus - and the idea of using b&w worked great. You sure wouldn't get the idea of this being daytime - quite interesting processing - May want to look into Perfect Effects more (I do use their freebie section and like it).

What a wonderful photo. B&W photos usually don't really say festive to me, but this one really does for me. Beautiful and fav
