We drove to West Yellowstone today and entered at the East Entrance, exiting at the West Entrance....an 80 mile trek which took a little over 2 hours. We did make a couple of short stops, one being to photograph this elk. He kept dunking his antlers in the water and rubbing against the grass/mud trying to get the velvet off (I guess).
