The sunshine was wonderful today! Flowers from my birthday were sitting in front of the kitchen window and I noticed the reflections on the glass. But looking out the window I still saw piles of snow.
Wow the reflections are beautiful. But I also love the shadows on the leaves. I'd trade you some of our sunshine and heat for some of your snow. 40 C here again today.
I love this kind of lighting with light shining through leaves. The flowers in background must be reflections if there is still snow outside! very nice.
Lynn I had just decided to get a cannon 600D when I discovered a flikr site for sx40 cameras only. There were some amazing macro photos. On one of the discussions I discovered that they use a Raynox lens. I have bought it I hope it will arrive today. So I hope this will improve my close ups. With the sx40 it does amazing zoom shots and is so versatile, I would be sorry to have to swap it for a camera where I had to take a bag of stuff when I went t on a shoot outing. So watch this space.
@wanabe Good luck with your new lens Meredith.. how exciting! I agree, it is a nice little camera to take along. I have had some awesome shots of the moon with it zoomed clear out and on a tripod. Maybe I can find that Flikr site. Thanks for the info!

Thanks for the comment on my snowman picture. Good thing I thought to do that shot yesterday: no more blue skies here today.
