Delanie by lynnz

Delanie

I was thrilled that my granddaughter Delanie invited me to V.I.P. Day at school today. Love that she wears a lot of pink like me and at lunch she ate her dessert first!
love this wonderful shot

She is so cute! The blurred image around her makes her look like an angel, I think! Great shot! And congrats to you for being her VIP. How fun!

Lovely shot, love the framing effect! Who does she take after eating her sweet first?
March 27th, 2014
Great shot. Wonderful effect, of blurring edges, to emphasize the subject. What an adorable granddaughter.

Cool effect

A super portrait.
March 27th, 2014
Beautiful portrait. love the processing and eating dessert first!
March 27th, 2014
@dianeburns I seldom eat dessert, but on holidays I do eat it first with the excuse that I will be too full later to enjoy it! I've seen cute signs that say 'Life is Short, Eat Dessert First'.
@dibzgreasley @barneyone I used PicMonkey to get the zooming effect. It is Focal Zoom. I was just trying to blur the other kids so the focus would be on her.
March 27th, 2014
Creative use of the zoom effect to isolate your granddaughter and make her the center of attention.....I never would have thought of that.
March 27th, 2014
Great portrait!

Very sweet, I love that she ate her dessert first! My daughter was a real tomboy and refused to wear pink- she loves it now she's in her 20's.
March 27th, 2014
Love the zoom as a way to highlight that pretty face!
March 27th, 2014
Great capture!

Lovely pov and processing in this shot of Delanie. I like her sparkly headband!
March 28th, 2014
Great shot and excellent processing. Haven't tried Picmonkey yet, must give it a go. Makes sense to eat dessert first, you want to have room for the best bits don't you.
March 28th, 2014
Lovely capture.
March 29th, 2014
That's a great shot Lynn - and I love the radial blur processing, really effective.
