My husband and I were traveling in northeast Iowa and I could see this in the rear view mirror. I could see that the sun was sinking fast into the cloud bank. Thank goodness I was driving so I could jerk the car off of the highway and come to a sudden stop and get out and take a picture! I got a big sigh from Keith but he said he is getting used to it!
God Bless you Keith! All the patient husbands and wives who fit this description deserve a special 365 recognition! I'm glad he's getting used to it and realizes that moments like this are not to be lost!
Wow! is right! This is some briliant color! Had a chuckle over your comment about being the driver and able to whip off the road for a quick photo. Like how your name glows like the setting sun.
Your description of taking this photo is fantastic! Ha! It's just the sort of thing I do too now. I love the way the sunset is glowing off the pavement too. Fav.
Absolutely stunning shot. Glad it's not only me who suddenly grinds to a halt when I see a potential picture. Love the car in the shot too. It really makes the story of the photo.
Gorgeous! One of the few places I've seen where those darn power poles go WITH the shot rather than mess it up. Their silhouettes actually add to the sunset. You hit a fabulous one. (Did get tickled with your husband's response - they are patient, aren't they!)
Wonderfull shot.I used to pull over in a hurry with the caravan on untill a truck driver gave me his thoughts on my ancestry.I studied the rear view mirror much more carefully after that.!!
A big FAV!
It's really beautiful, I love how the sunset is reflected in the road.
