I love the baubles you have hanging in the tree. I bet they do well at brighten the view on a dreary day, but then so too would that handsome woodpecker.

This is a great shot of him. He's adorable. The red on his head gives his gender away. They sure do love their suet! I love the woodpeckers. They are so cute. I have a photo of a Downy Woodpecker with an American Goldfinch. It's a quite funny one actually the way the woodpecker is looking. I also captured a Hairy Woodpecker last summer trying to get at a Sumac tree.
