I was so lucky we were on the edge of the storm! There was nowhere to go to get out of it, so I just kept driving slowly to get home (about 20 minutes). Other places in Iowa had uprooted trees, overturned semis, roofs blown off. One tree was blown down across the road in front of me, but I could drive around it. This was just before I got to the torrential rain and fierce wind.
