I see a lot of wonderful minimalist and abstract photos on facebook photography challenges. They seem to photograph anything and everything and make it look good. I'm never satisfied with my attempts at that, so I'm going to devote some time to trying to figure it out. Like always, I'll still have to find the right light. Critique is welcome.
@cimes1 Thanks so much, Carole. I do agree with the girls that the bottom is too washed out, but I'm glad you like it. It is one of those "in the eye of the beholder" things!
I think it depends on where you are viewing this. On my IPad it looked perfect. Now on my PC the bottom of the flower fades into the background. The colors are perfect. would be a great background for a page to add photos in a photo book.
@mittens There are lots of photography groups... New Color, Best Photo of the Day, etc etc etc. Some are public, some are closed groups, you just have to join. Thanks so much for the fav, Marilyn.
@shirleyv I appreciate your comment so much. I know pictures always look darker on my laptop than on my desktop. I need to remember to see how they look on my desktop before posting! Which I did not do this time. Thanks, Shirley.
This is so fun. A little washed out in the bottom, and just a tiny bit of petal is snipped off the side. But great use of blocks of colour. I look forward to seeing more.
