I took this in our yard early afternoon on Monday to capture the strange yellow glow from the smoke drifting here from the wildfires in Montana. We are way over 1,000 miles from Montana. I heard on TV that our air quality was poor, that the smoke is full of fine particles that can penetrate the lungs and cause heart and lung diseases. What a tragedy for the people and animals living closer to the fires.
That's scary that it's traveled that far - sure made a pretty background - if you didn't have to breathe it. May be rethinking my trip to Montana for next summer.
(I do learn a lot too. Did n`t know this myself. Often I use internet to know more.)
