Bubble Trouble by lynnz

Bubble Trouble

I tried the frozen bubble thing and this tiny bubble was the only one that lasted long enough to take a picture! I'm not giving up though! Maybe I can try again this next weekend. Nice texture of the snow anyway!!
I tried it - must not be cold enough (though sure felt it) need another pair of hands to blow the bubble! Think your shot is great! Fav

Nice composition! How cold was it? I'm thinking of trying on Friday morning, but no snow here.

Cool picture.

Cool shot. Did you put any Glycerin in the bubble solution. Supposedly that really makes it hold up better. Have that on my list, but just haven't gotten around to it.

VERY COOL!!! Must try this but it might mean opening the balcony door!

@rickster549 No, I didn't have the glycerine. After trying this, I read that if you use Ultra Dawn, you have to use more soap because it's not thick enough, and Ultra Dawn was what I used.

@tracys If I remember right, it was about 15 degrees below zero that day, so it was certainly cold enough!

Still a fabulous shot and great detail on the snow. Fav

I really like this, I'm surprised at how cold it needs to be, I'd have to be inside the freezer to try this!

What a cool idea... literally - minus 15 is flippin' cold! Fab shot. Unfortunately it doesn't get cold enough where we live to try this. Maybe I can blow some bubbles into the freezer, get them out and hope they last long enough to take photos of!

Fabulous. Never seen this before. Almost looks like a moon poking over the hill. Not sure it will work in Aussie where I live, only gets to -7-8 in winter.

cool

great effort! I tried it last year, but it was always too breezy and the bubbles blew away, and I was left with nothing but soapy hands.
January 4th, 2018
It looks great, I don't think I could live with that degree of cold :)

And great triangle shape to frame that little bubble!

I haven't gotten one yet. Someone suggested adding corn syrup or sugar to the mixture for it to be stronger. Might try tomorrow!
