Well not so much ink as paint and food colouring... I got the idea to try this when I was setting up yesterday's shot, with the paintbrush in the jar.
Of course my meagre effort isn't a patch on some of the amazing liquid flow photography I've seen, but I just love a good experiment so I tried my best with a vase, a desklamp, some acrylic paint and some food colouring.
I want to try it again with a proper set up, I had major reflection issues and shadow issues, and I discovered that even if you get the little air bubbles out, dropping the paint in there sort of creates more...
