The Poolbeg chimneys are quite the famous landmark here in Dublin. I am happy to say that this will be my view from the office I'll be working in a couple of days a week for the next three months... suffice to say this won't be my last shot of this scene :)
We were told as children that our grandfather was part of the team who used to paint the chimneys with their distinctive red and white stripes... not sure if this was just a yarn but it's a good story ;)
