Too cute...

A cold but beautiful sunny day so we went for a proper photo walk to the park, which I haven't done in a while. I was stalking squirrels but this little guy (or gal) perched on a branch just a few feet from my face and stayed there for ages looking right at me and posing for photos... I've never seen anything like it, they never ever come that close :)

great close up - they apparently evolved to follow wild boars turning over the earth to get worms and insects, so think large mammals are worth checking out.
