Another one I took of the moon last night, zoomed further in, again hand held, shot on auto. I rejected this one when I was uploading last night because I thought the edges weren't sharp enough but I guess it's not so bad. I must apologise in advance for boring you all to tears with future moon shots, but I'm loving this camera, it's very zoomy (technical term) ;)
*Thanks everyone for the comments, fav's & follows, in case I don't get around to responding to each one individually*

I instantly knew this was taken with a Canon PowerShot because I have one as well and I have captured shots of the moon just like this with it many times before!
@m2016 Nice job - I actually tried this on my Sony a6000 (mirror-less - which I love) I think I'll go for the full-framed next time but for now it does the job (always about $$). Anyway - I tried to shoot it with my 55-210mm didn't get even close ---- I need to practice on moon shots a lot more-must be doing something wrong (again). So you did good if it's just P & S ---- I just saw another moon shot and he said he used 1100mm lens ---- don't even want to know the price tag on that but it would be nice - I'm just wondering why he didn't get all the planets behind the moon with that lens. ---------- You did great P & S or not. --- I have an old P & S with powerzoom - hmmmm maybe I should try it, thanks for the inspiration.
