This foo fooy flower is growing in my yard in spite of my very lame gardening skills. My photographic skills weren't the best either, but it's one of the few shots I took.
Thanks everyone for your kind words and well wishes. I am improving. I have to take it easy for another couple of weeks which feels like a life sentence. Excuse my whining. :-)
This makes me think of my Nova Scotia garden as this looks a lot like the flower on the Silk Lilac tree...and hosta growing in the background... It'll all be just perfect if I can get a cat to come by for a visit and some hummingbirds as you've been picturing!
OK, well I had to look again. If the leaf is elliptic, alternate, and light green, could be 'False Solomon's Seal. Might Be, I am just saying:-) Excellent capture - would make a nice watercolor pour, I think! :D
Good focus and DOF! Take it easy! When I am laid up, I trey to remind myself that this is just a tiny fraction of my life. Perhaps you can catch up on your reading, craft work, or whatever quiet things you like to do???
Whine away. It makes you human. Isn't it hard when you are not well and can't do the things you love. I bet you miss walkign the pups too. Just take care of yourself and you will be back at it in no time. It might be a butterfly bush. Very pretty.
