The lake is down because of a dry fall. There are sandbars for quite a distance which meant I was able to walk out and try for better shots. What I accomplished was, waking them up and they swam away.
Very lovely shot! It's a picture of serenity and calm. Love how you've composed it, and how the light on the water and the movement in it add interest.
Just the sweetest shot, I just missed some duck waddling out of an iced pond yesterday argh! This is adorable, Livia is right it is so serene and calming.
