Lovely! I have such mixed feelings about snow. It's SOOOO beautiful, but so horrendously cold!! I just read "Light on Snow" by Anita Shreve and really enjoyed it! These trees make "Vermont" pop into my head for some reason..? They're birches, yeah? I wish we had hem here. The trees are one of the main reasons I am so drawn to North America!

@tabbycat These are white birch. I'm in New York, but they are all around the Northeast. Tabby, I love the snow. Not too keen on driving in it, but my husband is crazy and thinks it's just an adventure to drive in white outs, so he does the driving. Taking pictures and hiking in it...I love.
