A little girl warned me that last time she had visited this tiger, it had tried to eat her. She wasn't really upset about it, just wanted me to know that I needed to be careful while taking pictures. She then said...".I don't think this tiger likes me very much" . Off she went with a smile.
I guess when someone this big nearly eats you, it doesn't matter if you think it's a lion or a tiger. . I took her advice and was careful.
Fabulous capture Margaret - you can see the soft texture of the fur. Your story makes me laugh. I adore kids stories - they tell them so earnestly and with such conviction.
Hahaa - the lioness at our local zoo used to stalk my daughter when she was toddler-sized. A bit unnerving for a parent but Rachel only noticed the chickens wandering around! She a beautiful cat whatever you call her!
Oh wow, gorgeous!!!! I think it is cute that the little girl thought the tiger was going to eat her! Kids do have a sixth sense...maybe that is exactly what the tiger was thinking! :) Glad you both were spared....this time...lol
Well, you did it again Maggie! Your timing was perfect to make this one really marvelous photo. :-) She reminds me of a person in a choir, singing solo..........Take care, Les x
She's beautiful!
