A friend had a party for her teenage son. It involved a foam machine, strobe lights, excellent music, a fog machine and a swimming pool. It was incredible to see. The kids had a great time. You can run and slide on the tarp that the foam machine has filled with bubbles.
I don't remember my parents throwing this kind of party for me...is that abuse? :-)
My goodness, i was worse than abused then. Lucky if I had red eggs for my bday (chinese custom to dye hardboiled eggs red and give it as bday presents and esp to celebrate baby's month old bday on earth).
Margaret yes times have changed..sometimes I wish I were be a child in "nowadays" it would be so much fun but on the other hand we played outside with hardly any toys..made up our own and found lots to do..now the kids need all the electgronics to keep them busy...indoors ... now I don't know who is better off..them or us? now this being said..your picture is lovely and it sounds like the children had lots of fun..just watching them would make me happy.
@bruni You are so right. When I was a child, we didn't have anything like what they have now. I think there are advantages both ways. I'm not downing young people, I think they are great...but so are old people like me. :-)
